Structural Engineering for the 152,000 GSF new building which has 400 beds, a 625 seat dining facility and a 1,600 sf health services center. The structure consisted of both concrete on metal deck with steel framing for the assembly spaces, and precast concrete plank on an upset structural T (d-beam) to create a flat ceiling in the dormitory spaces. This project achieved LEED Gold certification.
