Structural Engineering for the $53M, 103,000 sf new athletic center. The new center features a 1,200 seat multi-purpose competition gymnasium with a 9,000 sf fitness/weight room, a 1,500 sf training room with hydrotherapy pools, 3 aerobics/dance/spinning rooms, 2 general purpose classrooms, a 1,200 sf function room, a student lounge with a juice bar, a golf simulation room and batting cages. This project achieved LEED Gold certification. Limiting the vibration due to aerobic activities was a consideration when designing the structure.
